"Where am I?"
I made Angel for the "Becoming - I" episode, where the Gypsies use the Orb of Thesula to curse Angel with his soul.
I used a 12" Sideshow Liam doll. I removed his hair and clothes, then sawed through his waist and arms at the biceps. I sculpted his tied-back hair, shirt, cravat, waistcoat and coat.
I painted Angel looking anxious, as his eyes flare with the light of his soul.
For the Orb of Thesula, I used a glass paper weight. I sculpted a hollow stand for it in the shape of a cushion. I painted that dark red. There is a small battery powered amber light glued inside the hollow. The cushion is supported by the bottom of a decorative pill box. See back and light-up views for lights on/off.
