Bathing-in-a-Lake Giant Dawn & Tiny Xander

Xander: "Don't you think that's overstating it?" Dawn: "I'm a giant. Everything I state is over."

I made Dawn for "The Long Way Home" Issue 2, where she is turned into a giant and has to bathe in a lake. I used a Dawn head, Anya upper body and Cordy legs. I put the parts into a modest pose. I sculpted her torso and hair.

I painted her looking upset by her situation, with tears on her cheeks. I went for a resemblance to the actress, rather than the comic.

I used an upturned stand to sculpt the lake basin and grassy hills. The miniature trees came with a woodland scene for Warhammer displays. I used Scenic Water for the lake. I churned some into froth to preserve her dignity. I repainted a model railway passenger as tiny Xander.
