One of my best friends, Mary Anne, lives in Seabrook, Texas, on the shores of Galveston Bay. She was expecting to flood with Hurricane Ike, and moved everything to the top floor. She wasn't expecting the entire house to disappear. A tidal surge just swept it away!
Amongst the rubble, she found poor decapitated Mardi-Gras-Hound Mary Anne, the figure I made for her in 2005. I've made her a new custom in the Adventurous MA line.
I used a Jean Grey head, Anya body and Heroes Claire legs. I sculpted her hair and dress. I painted her to look like Mary Anne. She's holding a handbag and sunglasses. I adapted a stand to show a photo from our trip to Montenegro & Croatia a few years back. I'll give it to her when I see her for Thanksgiving.
